Arrived quite late at night and was met with a friendly welcome from David the owner. Bedrooms are very comfortable with everything you need.slept very well.Breakfast was probably one of the best ones I have ever had,( thank you for accommodating the gluten free breakfast as well). Overall a lovely nights stay in a very beautiful part of the country. We will definitely be recommending this guest house to friends and family. Looking forward to returning later in the year. I will stay here again. And I come up every 2/3 weeks so need a nice place to stay when I return. I booked through booking.com but will book direct next time.

My three friends and I stayed a night to break our 'Coast to Coast' bike ride as it's the perfect location for an easy ride to Tynemouth the next day. We arrived late after a hard day of cycling and our navigation skills were a bit sketchy finding the place from the Waskerley Way cycling route, but the owner was really helpful in directing us over the phone. Dinner was delicious also with great veggie options, and the portions were ideal for hungry cyclists! With hosts that really go out of their way for you, I would definitely recommend a stay.
